We at the Red Barn are always getting excited for the different events that the different seasons bring.
During the winter months after Christmas we are still the best place for fresh apples from the fall. Check in the cooler for the availability and variety of fruit. When Mother Nature gives us the first taste of spring then we start filling the greenhouse with perennials and cool hardy bedding plants for those people itching to get their hands in the dirt.
Come the first of April, the greenhouse is full of color. We also have hanging baskets and planted pots and a good variety of fruit and vegetables ready to plant. Our asparagus begins to warm up and poke its head out of the soil towards the end of April.
The asparagus is harvested every day.
